Description

Finally, I finished it!

Thus, the Axis powers won World War II.

The Geneva peace treaty was signed in 1944, which meant the end of the Second World War.
The terms of the Geneva peace Treaty:
  1. First, Germany to be transmitted all the colonies that were under its control in 1914. A large part of the British and French colonies were divided between Germany and Italy. The Japanese Empire took over some of the American colonies(the Philippines) and British New Guinea. Most Asian colonies of European countries became independent and passed under the control of Japan.

  2. Tuva joined the USSR.
Turkey ceded the Northern part of French Syria.
Pakistan passed under the control of Germany.
China was divided into spheres of influence between the Soviet Union and the Japanese Empire: the People's Republic of China (USSR) and the Republic of China (Japan).
The Canadian province of Quebec, under the terms of the treaty, became the German colony.
Portugal loses independence and becomes part of Spain (Portugal participated in the Second World war against the Axis).

  3. The number of troops of the United States subject to reduction to 1 000 000 people, as well as the US and the UK had to pay war reparations the Axis powers.

  4. A large part of the British military and civil fleet was transferred to Germany, the United Kingdom was forbidden to have a Navy the size of which was more than one-fourth of the German fleet.

As the era of peace, but for how long?

In 1945, in the world there are three Superpowers: USSR, Germany and Japan.
After the Second World War, the Third Reich becomes a mighty superpower, which has a huge impact in the world. Due to the addition of new territories, the German economy began to grow very quickly and now ranks second in the world after the Soviet Union.

They began to intensify the already existing Soviet-Japanese contradictions. In 1949, war breaks out in China (similar to the Korean War). North China is supported by the Soviet Union, the South - the Empire of Japan. The first 2 years had the advantage of the Republic of China(South). However, the Soviet Union remained on the sidelines. In 1950, the USSR began direct support of the Chinese people's Republic(North), starting the supply of arms, aircraft and military trainers.

At the end of 1950, began an offensive on the Chinese front. In 1951 the troops of North China managed to invade the Japanese puppet state of Mengjiang. Wang Jingwei's troops were thrown to the southeast. Afraid to lose control of the entire territory of mainland China, the Japanese Empire announced the beginning of peace talks. The armistice was concluded in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia). According to the treaty, there are two China in the world, the border between which passes along the front line at the time of the start of negotiations. On the status of Mengjiang, the parties to the conflict were unable to agree.

In 1945, India gained independence from Great Britain. In 1955, taking advantage of the weakness of the UK, Argentina annexed the Falkland Islands.

So, all of these events were an impetus to the beginning of the Cold War.

Gradually, relations between the Third Reich and the Soviet Union began to deteriorate against the background of ideological contradictions.
In 1952, Hitler ordered the preparation of a plan for war against the USSR.
By 1954 the plan was prepared. According to the Barbarossa plan, about 200-300 nuclear bombs were to be dropped on the cities of the Soviet Union, with the aim of destroying Soviet industry in order to paralyze the country's economy. After that, it was planned by the Wehrmacht forces to invade the USSR and occupy all of its territory to the Urals.
Only after the first Soviet atomic bomb was tested at the Semipalatinsk test site in 1955, the plan for war with the USSR had to be canceled, since the risks of losses on the part of Germany were too great.

The date of the Great War was delayed later. But how much?
Realizing this, the Soviet leadership begins to seek allies against the Third Reich and Japan. These are proved to be the United States of America, who wanted revenge in a lost war.

In 1955, the Soviet Union forgave US half of their debt on reparations. This led to a rapprochement between the two countries.
In 1956, signed the Soviet-American Treaty of reciprocal assistance. It was greeted with outrage in Berlin and Tokyo. A year later, Japan and Germany signed the Pact of mutual assistance, in response to the Soviet-American agreement. In 1957 the Soviet-American Alliance join: UK, Canada, North China, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Mongolia, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. In 1958 to the German-Japanese Pact was joined by the Republic of China, Italy, Vichy France, Spain and all countries in the East Asian sphere of co-prosperity.

In 1957, at the initiative of Germany, the European Economic Community (also known as the European Union) was established. The association includes: the Third Reich, Vichy France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Poland. Spain refused to join the community, but created a free trade zone with the EU.

The world was divided into two camps:
The Soviet-American alliance and the German-Japanese axis.

The world began to teeter on the brink of a new great war.
